Tuesday, March 27, 2007 - ACHA DIII ALL ACADEMIC/NATIONAL AWARDS
The ACHA has announced All-American Awards. Northwood's Joe Riehl (Junior) has been voted All-American 1st Team Goalie. Mike Morley (Senior) has been selected as All-American 2nd Team Forward. Tyler Soulliere (Senior) has been awarded All-North Region 2nd Team Defense. Five Northwood players have earned ACHA DIII All-Academic Honors. Jeff Ducharme (Senior) 3.65 GPA, Joel Sepetance (Senior) 3.64 GPA, Billy Mault (Senior) 3.61 GPA, and Drew Baldino (Senior) 3.47 GPA have been awarded with this Academic Honor.

Friday, October 13, 2006 - NORTHWOOD 3, OAKLAND 1
MIDLAND, Mich. - In the Timberwolves second game of the season they faced a new, young and quick Oakland University. Sophomore Jay Dunlop kept the ball rolling as he gave the Timberwolves a 1-0 lead with a brilliant goal he batted out of mid air. Even though the Timberwolves continued to pepper the net with shots, Oakland's goalie played big and the period ended in a 1-1 tie. In the second, Senior Matt Jarvis scored his second goal of the season to give the Timberwolves a 2-1 lead. Senior Andrew Dague drew an assist on the play. The Timberwolves closed the game out when freshmen Mike Solomich scored his first goal of his career. Earning assists on the play were defensive partners Jay Knapp and Tyler Soulliere. Even though the game was close in score, Oakland's goalie saved 32 out of the 35 shots he faced.

Saturday, October 14, 2006 - NORTHWOOD 9, GRAND VALLEY 4
HUDSONVILLE, Mich. - The 2006-07 Northwood University Timberwolves started off their season with a win. The T-Wolves traveled across state Friday night to take on school rival Grand Valley State University in their home opener. In their first period the Timberwolves walked away with a 3-1 lead. Sophomore Jay Dunlop started off scoring the first two goals with exceptional hustle. Sophomore Nick Dinverno and seniors Jeff Ducharme and Andrew Dague all drew assist on Dunlop's goals. Senior captain Tyler Soulliere closed out the period with a goal. With senior Mike Morley and junior Michael Richards both drawing assists. The second period was a different story. The Lakers scored three goals taking away some of the Timberwolves thunder. However it wasn't enough to keep the Timberwolves down, senior Joel Sepetance lead by example as he took over the game and scored three goals in one shift to give the Timberwolves a 6-4 lead going into the third period. Senior Drew Baldino drew two assists on the action. Freshmen Mike Solomich and Kyle Plant both earned their first points of their careers with an assist. Also getting an assist on the play was Sophomore Jay Knapp. The Timberwolves pulled away when Jay Dunlop scored to get his first hat trick of the season. Junior Michael Richards gained his second assist of the night on the goal. To add insult to injury, seniors Drew Baldino and Matt Jarvis both scored to give the T-Wolves a demanding 9-4 victory. Senior Michael Richards drew his third assist of the night while both, freshmen Kyle Plant and senior Andrew Dague earned their second assist of the night. Even though the Timberwolves had some first game jitters, as all teams do, they were able to get the job done and walk away with the win.
